Rosalia
Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish singer of flamenco. Her work has been in the margins of traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she has also delved into different genres such as Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp, yet with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. It was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and won an Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami the third album by her included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. This set was released March 2022 after an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the track Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo artist to perform on the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami's Rosalia, who won an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman to do so.
